ERIC TIPTON (1915-2001), 1939-1941 Philadelphia Athletics ~ postcard size photo George Brace Photograph: ERIC TIPTON was a .270 lifetime hitting outfielder/pinch-hitter who played in the majors 7 seasons - three with the A's, 4 for the Reds. In '43 and '44 Eric appeared in 140 games each and hit for averages of .288 and .301, respectively. Offered for your consideration is an autographed glossy postcard size card produced by noted photographer George Brace. Card size is 3-3/8" by 5-1/2" and the back is blank except for player name in ink which was standard practice by the manufacturer. Since we have just one, this is the card the buyer will receive. Condition: Excellent-Plus to Near-Mint ANY number of single cards (up to and including 8X10 inches in size) will ship for the single USPS Ground Advantage charge, if the buyer will request and wait for a combined invoice before paying.
